On July 18–19, Huang Youfang, Chairman of the Top 50 Shipping Elites Research Center (50SERC), led an expert team to Huanghua Port in Cangzhou, Hebei Province, to conduct research on port planning and development, trade and logistics growth, and the construction of port supply chain systems. The delegation also participated in a special symposium on Huanghua Port’s development and port supply chain system construction.

Participants in the related activities included Bi Ruwei, Deputy Leader of the Cangzhou Municipal Coordination Task Force for Xiong’an Cooperation and Secretary of the Party Committee of Cangzhou Municipal Ocean and Port Authority; Guo Shujun, Deputy Secretary-General of the Cangzhou Municipal Government; Liu Junde, Specially Appointed Expert of Cangzhou Municipal Government; Cheng Gang, Director of Cangzhou Municipal Transportation Bureau; Wang Jinlou, Chairman of Cangzhou Port Group; and Li Jianzai, General Manager of Cangzhou Port Group.

On the afternoon of July 18, Chairman Huang Youfang and his delegation visited China Energy Huanghua Port Coal Terminal, Huanghua Port Comprehensive Port Area and Bulk Cargo Port Area.

The delegation conducted field research on several key projects, including the Phase III Coal Terminal, Senxu Liquid Cargo Terminal, Phase I Ro-Ro Terminal, Seawater Desalination Water Diversion Project, Berths No. 9 and No. 10, Tianjin-Hebei Container Terminal, Phase I Belt Conveyor Corridor Project, 200,000-ton Ore Terminal, coal and iron ore storage yards, bulk commodity logistics park, and ore blending and trading center.

During the visit, the delegation gained a detailed understanding of port construction and operations, cargo structure, collection and distribution systems, hinterland storage facilities, and the development of trade and logistics services.

On the morning of July 19, a symposium on Huanghua Port’s Planning and Development, Trade and Logistics Growth, and Port Supply Chain System Construction was held at the Cangzhou Port City Industrial Park.

During the meeting, participants watched a promotional video on Huanghua Port and listened to presentations on the port’s development history, current construction and operational status, project planning for the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and the development of collection and distribution systems.

Participants conducted in-depth discussions on topics including port resource integration, infrastructure development, port-city-industry-trade integration, and the enhancement of supply chain service capabilities.
