On the morning of June 15, the Inner Mongolia Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held a special lecture titled “Dynamic Practices of Free Trade Zones and Reflections on the Development of the Inner Mongolia Free Trade Zone,” as part of its capacity-building training program for government officials and staff.

Officials and employees from the offices and affiliated institutions of the Inner Mongolia CPPCC, the Inner Mongolia Bureau of the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, the Department of Grain and Strategic Reserves of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, COFCO Corporation Inner Mongolia Branch, and the Inner Mongolia Branch of the Agricultural Development Bank of China attended the lecture.

Huang Youfang, Chairman of the Top 50 Shipping Elites Research Center (50SERC) and Director of its Expert Committee, was invited to deliver the keynote lecture.

Focusing on four major areas — the definition and evaluation of free trade zones, development practices and case studies, innovation and implementation, and reflections on the establishment of the China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone — Professor Huang provided an in-depth analysis of the development models and practical experience of free trade zones.

With comprehensive content and abundant case studies, the lecture offered forward-looking theoretical insights and practical recommendations for the development of the China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

The lecture helped participants gain a deeper understanding of the significance of free trade zone development, systematically grasp requirements for institutional innovation, broaden their perspectives and enhance their approaches to advancing free trade zone construction.
