Shandong Port Rizhao Port Group Co., Ltd. (Rizhao Port) plans to strengthen cooperation with Cambodia on port development and logistics services, including potential joint development of Kampot Port.

On August 4, Bun Borani, Minister of Public Works and Transport of Cambodia, met with Zhou Tao, Deputy General Manager of Rizhao Port, and his delegation. The two sides exchanged views on developing Kampot Port, improving Cambodia’s port service capabilities and expanding cooperation in port logistics and supply chain services.

Both sides agreed that strengthening maritime infrastructure and logistics networks is essential for supporting Cambodia’s economic growth, expanding foreign trade and enhancing regional connectivity.

The cooperation is expected to improve Cambodia’s port operation and management capabilities, enhance service efficiency and provide stronger support for trade-related supply chain activities.
