COSCO SHIPPING has achieved a new record in vehicle transportation in East China, completing the export of 13,052 vehicles through its Chery vehicle container export project at Taicang Port.

With the rapid growth of China’s automobile exports, COSCO SHIPPING has developed new transportation solutions by loading vehicles into containers and combining its global shipping network, port resources and specialized vessel capabilities. 

The project involved complex coordination from vehicle collection and container loading to port delivery and vessel operations. COSCO SHIPPING’s Shanghai team established a dedicated task force to ensure smooth operations and successfully launched an efficient direct transportation route to Vado Port, Italy.

Over the past year, COSCO SHIPPING has provided containerized vehicle export services for multiple automobile brands, covering markets including Europe, the Mediterranean and Latin America.

The company will continue strengthening cooperation with supply chain partners and developing integrated logistics solutions to support Chinese automobile brands expanding into global markets.
