Maersk China and Kibing Group have signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding (MoU), focusing on global supply chain optimization, decarbonization and digital transformation.

The partnership aims to support Kibing Group’s international expansion in key markets including India, the United States and Southeast Asia by leveraging Maersk’s global logistics network and integrated supply chain solutions.

Ding Zejuan, President of Maersk Greater China, said Chinese companies are entering a new stage of global expansion, where supply chains have become not only a matter of cost and efficiency but also a key factor in responsiveness, resilience and long-term competitiveness.

Ling Genlue, CEO of Kibing Group, said the company’s global development requires stronger end-to-end logistics and ocean transportation capabilities. Through cooperation with Maersk, Kibing Group will further improve its overseas supply chain network and support efficient international business growth.

Founded in 1988, Kibing Group is one of China’s leading glass manufacturers, with businesses covering float glass, architectural glass, energy-saving glass and photovoltaic glass.

The two companies have already cooperated on logistics services. Maersk has upgraded shipping services between Malaysia’s Sabah and Tanjung Pelepas, providing more frequent sailings and stronger capacity support for Kibing Group’s exports to markets such as the United States and India.
