Shandong Port Group and Hisense Group have signed a strategic cooperation agreement covering supply chain coordination and port digitalization.
The agreement was witnessed by Gao Liping, Chairman and General Manager of Shandong Port Group, and Jia Shaoqian, Chairman of Hisense Group.
The two groups plan to deepen cooperation in integrated logistics and supply chains, smart port development and digital transformation.
Shandong Port is accelerating its transformation from a traditional port operator into an integrated supply chain service provider, expanding overseas and developing end-to-end logistics services. It is also promoting AI applications and digital transformation.
Hisense said its expanding overseas manufacturing operations require increasingly efficient supply chain support. The global factory network of Hisense and the international logistics network of Shandong Port could therefore be integrated to improve end-to-end logistics efficiency.
The two sides also see potential cooperation in emerging sectors including smart energy, intelligent transportation and smart buildings, with the aim of strengthening their international competitiveness.
