Kuehne+Nagel (China) issued a risk warning on September 9, identifying 32 companies whose names contain the Chinese characters “德迅” and may cause confusion with Kuehne+Nagel.

The company stressed that the 32 entities have no affiliation, investment, shareholding, agency, authorization or other business relationship with Kuehne+Nagel, and that it bears no responsibility for their activities.

Kuehne+Nagel said it owns the relevant registered trademarks and corporate naming rights and reserves the right to take legal action against unauthorized use of identical or similar names or marks that could mislead the public.

Customers and business partners were advised to verify counterparties’ business licenses, registered names, unified social credit codes and contact information through official channels before entering into transactions.

Kuehne+Nagel said it will continue monitoring the market, updating its list of potentially confusing companies and taking action against brand infringement.

Founded in 1890 and headquartered in Switzerland, Kuehne+Nagel operates a global logistics network covering sea logistics, air logistics, road logistics and contract logistics.
