A new automotive supply chain joint venture established by Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd. and Sinotrans South China Co., Ltd. has officially been inaugurated in Nansha, Guangzhou.

The new company, Guangzhou Port Sinotrans Automotive Supply Chain Co., Ltd., will combine the port resources of Guangzhou Port with Sinotrans’ global logistics network to develop integrated automotive import and export supply chain services.

The joint venture will leverage the ro-ro terminal clusters at Nansha and Xinsha port areas, together with Sinotrans’ extensive domestic and international logistics network, to provide end-to-end services from vehicle manufacturing plants to overseas markets.

Its five core service offerings will cover cross-border vehicle logistics, integrated “port + logistics” services, port consolidation and distribution, dedicated new energy vehicle services, and used-car exports.

The partners aim to strengthen Guangzhou and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as a major gateway for China’s automotive exports while developing more resilient and competitive global automotive supply chains.
